Abuse of power is such a common thing. I first experiences it with certain bus drivers. One came running towards the bus, 20m away, waving - but they closed the doors anyway and drove off.
Internet and anonymity makes that behavior even easier. It's a shame, really, but unfortunately part of what humans are. The checks and balances that I perceive here on Hive are a lot stronger, but not perfect either. And others perceive that very differently, as a certain muted spammer proves.
