am heutigen Montag möchte ich Euch gerne im Rahmen des #MondayTrance von @andyjaypowell inspiriert durch @uwelang einen Track des Tranceprojektes "Dance 2 Trance" vorstellen. Der Song heißt: "Hello San Francisco" und wurde von den zwei Trance-Urgesteinen DJ Dag und Jam El Mar 1992 produziert und veröffentlicht. 🏆
This Monday, as part of the #MondayTrance by @andyjaypowell inspired by @uwelang, I would like to present you a track of the trance project "Dance 2 Trance". The song is called: "Hello San Francisco" and was produced and released by the two trance greats DJ Dag and Jam El Mar in 1992. 🏆
Bezüglich der Entstehung des Songs gibt es eine interessante Geschichte zu berichten: DJ Dag saß mit DJ-Kollegen in einem Cafè und hörte zufällig einen Song von Supertramp, bei dem ab ca. 2:30 min. ein total eingängiges Piano-Riff zu hören war. Das Lied hieß "Crime Of The Century", und DJ Dag hoffte, daß keiner seiner anwesenden Kollegen bemerkt hatten, was für ein Potential in Hinsicht eines neuen Trance-Songs in diesem Riff lag.
Sogleich setzte er sich mit dem Produzenten Jam El Mar zusammen und produzierte den fantastischen Track "Hello San Francisco". 🏆
There is an interesting story to tell about the origin of the song: DJ Dag sat with DJ-colleagues in a café and happened to listen to a song by Supertramp with a totally catchy piano riff from about 2:30 minutes on. The song was called "Crime Of The Century", and DJ Dag hoped that none of his colleagues had noticed what a potential for a new trance song was in this riff.
He immediately sat down with producer Jam El Mar and produced the fantastic track "Hello San Francisco". 🏆
