Quick Two Minute Money Test

If you can’t cover a month of lost income in an emergency, you’re financially fragile. Many people can’t cover a $400 emergency, let alone a full month. Are you broke? The number one thing I do is teach people how to increase their revenue. You need more cash flow. The truth is there are just different levels of broke. How broke are you?

Grab a sheet of paper and take this broke test and see how you do:

(Add 1 point for every answer that is true of you.)

You know you’re broke when you….

You look forward to a refund from the IRS

Your vacations are planned on Groupon

You live paycheck to paycheck

You have more Steem Dollars than actual Dollars

You clip coupons

You can only fly coach

You grab on sale items even if you don’t need them

You only partially fill your gas tank

You visit garage/yard sales

You can only afford to ride the city bus

You mow your own lawn

You believe the government can fix your problems

You change your own oil

You think rich people are evil

You think money is evil

You only buy healthy food occasionally due to cost

You never invest in yourself

You don’t even know how much is in your bank account

You go to pawn shops

You make your own coffee rather than “splurging” at Starbucks

You earn less than $100K a year

You eat fast food

You carry loose change around

You argue over money with your spouse

You feel like giving $20 to charity is making a difference

If you had over 20 points, you’re unfortunately living with a poverty mindset, no matter what you’re making. If you had over 10 points, you’re so engrained in the middle class mindset that you’re about to fall out of it. Anything over 5 points and you should be seriously worried. Ideally, you should have no points on this quiz.

What mindset are you living with? More importantly, what will you do to change your condition? If you want free, check out my YouTube channel. If you want to break out of the broke mentality and start investing in yourself, head over to Cardone University and take the biggest step of your life. Invest in the only asset no one can take from you — yourself.

Comment below what you scored on the quiz and what you think it means. And be honest, who has more Steem dollars than actual dollars? Don't be shy...

Be great,

What's wrong with Steem Dollars? Seems like sound money to me.

I only fit in 2 of the categories- only because I like to have my son mow the lawn and I enjoy yard sales lol

I scored one because I like browsing pawn shops haha

I think it meant actually hawking your stuff lol I like pawn shops too! The antique jewelry is amazing!

That makes sense I can imagine there are some great things to find - I'm always looking out for that one mistake that they'll make with vintage musical instrument.

That's how I scored a conn constellation! Lovely piece!

Nice to see you posting again uncle G.

Why do ppl refer to this guy as Uncle G? His "secrets" are the same as every other self help financial guru who is going to get you out of your "rut". Being a slave to money is not when you don't have enough, but rather when you spend your whole life trying to get more. Constantly chasing.
FYI: I'm retired at 38 and have been broke and wealthy.

Not really sure why @rawdawg, I think I've heard him refer to himself as it and he's definitely old enough to be an uncle to many :)

I found some of his material helpful in getting my mind right for sales.

Are you gonna feel better about yourself when you are a salesperson rockstar who closes $4mm worth of deals? Do you define yourself as s human being by how many deals or sales you close in a week? Does that number make you feel BIG?

Would I feel good about being good at my job?

Enjoy your retirement. Not sure antagonising strangers on the internet is how I'd like to spend mine but whatever works for you.

Cool, so you call him uncle G because he calls himself that. Nice man.

If the guy st the gas station refers to himself as uncle G do you refer to him that way also?

Glad you find uncle G's work useful.

The love of money is ...

The love of money is bullshit
