I sort of enjoy doing nude, lingerie or boudoir shoots, but perhaps not as much as fashion or implied which I find more pleasing. I'm not into gratuitous genital shots. Each to their own and I certainly wouldn't rule anything out until I have tried it. Well except for bondage / S&M stuff which I find completely distasteful.

But, even though I don't generally do those levels, plenty of people do. Sometimes it can be done well, and artistically, but a lot of what I have seen is bad. Badly shot, unnecessarily graphic and liked by countless people. I am not saying my images are any better, I am just saying that sexual content does "sell" - does that make the model a commodity?

Is something that is sensual to one person overly graphic to another? Is it all a matter of the viewer's perspective, their own sensibilities? Does it matter? Do people have the right to be offended? Do people have the right to shoot and publish whatever they wish?
