In South Georgia USA, we have some violent T-storms,
So I have seen such as this all my life, lightning and
All, striking trees, leaving them standing and black
down one side, or all the bark blasted off in a
Streak from top to bottom (which looks
REALLY weird).... Nature is a very
Interesting, wonderful, and
Dangerous Mistress.

Ohhhh those sound very dramatic and must make great subjects for photos - how come I don't see these pics?? :) No, I don't go into the "woods" much - hey, I'm a city girl! Lol... Besides, we don't have woods, we have jungles!!! :D Totally different - you'll need a machete to walk through them... haha! Not much fun at all! Nature is a very interesting, wonderful, and dangerous mistress - totally agree!!
Thank you, Jerry!! You have a good weekend! :)
For the most part, have been cut down for housing, hence
The problem with watershed and flooding. Cut for pulp
Wood as well. It is really sad. I could get my nephew
Who still lives right on the bank of the river and
Hunts deer, to send me some photos of the
Woods, but back when I was young and
Walked them, I didn't have a camera.
I'll try to tag you when and if that
Happens @ackhoo. Thanks PS
Here is one I took of our
River property, before
The fire burned
The House.
