Once upon a time, a pencil maker spoke to his newest creation before placing it inside the box. Treating the pencil as if it were alive, he gave it five important lessons to remember.
“Listen carefully,” he said. “If you follow these five lessons, you’ll become the best pencil you can be.”
1. You will achieve wonderful things, but. only when you allow yourself to be. guided by someone’s hand.
2. At times, you will go through a painful. sharpening, but this will only make you. stronger and more useful.
3. You’ll always have the ability to fix. mistakes made along the way.
4. What truly matters is not how you look. on the outside, but what lies within you.
5. And finally, wherever you are used, always leave your mark—never stop. writing your story.
The pencil listened carefully and promised to live by these words.
In truth, this story is not only about pencils—it is about us.
We too must let ourselves be guided, accept challenges for growth, learn from our errors, value our inner self, and leave a positive impact on the world.
That is how we can all become the “best pencil” in life.
