Habits/Tips to always have excellent Grades in any field

in #motivation6 years ago

Hello steemian, some (if not many) of us are in schools of different categories, therefore having similar challenges. One of which is the grades we leave school with, though the grades don't define your final outcome in life, but it tell a lot about your personality (diligence, consistence and excellence)

To experience anything new, you need three important elements;

*NEW KNOWLEDGE - you got to acquire new information that is superior to what you already have for the change you desire.

*NEW ATTITUDE - New knowledge without a change in your Approach and manner at with you handle that IN which you desire a change will not work. There must be a new attitude.

*ACTION - Now you know better, backed up with a different attitude, what's next is, you take actions, that is where the difference s. Those who are successful in today’s world are not the smartest or the talkative but those who take action.

Your wanting to improve your grades, increase your GPA. I got NEW INFORMATION for you.
You need to start doing these five daily habits. These are simple techniques that you can do every day that will help you to improve your grades and your life.

  1. Read class notes before bed

The first way you can increase your grades is by reading your class notes every night before you fall asleep. Studies have shown that the brain takes the most recent memories of the day and stores them in long term memory. This means that you will have a better chance of recalling your notes if you study them a little before bed each night.

  1. Study in advance

This is one thing that always helps many to do better during exams. Whether it’s the hardest test of the year, finals, or whatever, this technique never fails. The beautiful thing about studying in advance is that it helps to become familiar with the notes so that one can avoid late night cramming when the test/exams come. Studying in advance also helps to eliminate stress.

  1. Be productive when studying

When you start studying, you need to make sure that you are actually being productive with your time. Make sure that you are paying attention to what you are reading, do not chew cum while reading, you attention is cut in more than half by that little thing in your mouth. Try to keep your phone out of sight and out of mind. Turning your phone on airplane mode is preferable. But everyone’s brain works differently, so ensure you find and use study techniques and tools that help you. Don’t just study one way because that’s how everyone else does it. Study in whatever way works best for you.

  1. Wake up early and make a plan

I know this might be challenging for those who are not morning people, but try waking up fifteen to thirty minutes earlier to go through your plan for the day. You can have a to-do list, look over notes, check your messages, etc. Waking up early and making a plan will help you feel more prepared for the day ahead which will then lead to more effective and productive classes, studying, and better grades.

  1. Recite notes out loud

Studies show that reciting your notes out loud helps you to retain more information. So, next time you study, try reciting your notes out loud. If it appears to help you, then keep it up for future studying!

In conclusion, it is one thing to know this and another thing to take the necessary steps, begin early.
