"Need HELP??" - Motivation Moment #20

in #motivation6 years ago (edited)

Have you ever required assistance... but was too shy to ask or perhaps you felt you could handle it all by yourself?

Just yesterday the toilet shower-head started leaking. It was just a small slow drip so I just did not pay any attention to it. Then after a couple of usages, it started to drip profusely. I "began" to take notice!

In life, we could be like that as well. At first, perhaps we would dismiss life concerns or challenges as "not an issue". Until it is too late.

Anyway, back to my shower-head story...being Easter Break I could not get my landlord over to assist immediately. So I took it into my own hands and started to try to fix the drip myself. Errr... it has not worked to be frank. It may be dripping slightly more after I have meddled with it. LOL. :)

Do you need a Hand in any area of your life, business or career?

Have you sought for someone to assist you? Have you found a resolution over things that could be now bigger than it was earlier? Are you desperate enough (without self-pride or ego) to cry out for assistance?

Sometimes waiting is good. But sometimes action is better. Don't wait till it's too late -- like getting out of your Zone to ASK or SEEK for HELP!.

Try it today. The worst that could happen is the person says NO. There is a 50:50 chance the person might say YES or point you to the right direction.

So the next time you start feeling that things are getting out of hand, acknowledge your need for help.

There are Coaches, Mentors, Consultants, Specialists, Counsellors and other professionals who can lend a hand in your time of need.

Try it and let me know what happens.

I agree with you. The most important thing when you feel bad about yourself, you should be able to ask someone else for help. can be started from a friend then if anxiety continues can directly contact people who are experts in their fields. we need not be afraid to admit our own inadequacies.

thank you for sharing from you

Friends are good for support but not always the best for professional advise 😊😊. Thanks for your comment. Cheers! Mel @coachmelleow
