An excellent quote and I would say so, waiting, it is always irresponsible, because being attached to a certain result, a person no longer sees what is happening, but contemplates his hallucinations about the world and other people.
Expecting a person does not actually do anything, he waits for the world to turn upside down, or will revolve around him. The meaning with expectations is to first realize the expectations. And then, if the expected is really required - translate it into a desire. Thank you @greatpath

Bruce was right! We are not in this world to live up to other people’s expectations! when you invest the majority of your energy attempting to be whatever everybody needs you to be, wearing all sort of covers and outfits in view of the part you are relied upon to be playing, you start to lose yourself. Since you turn out to be so fixated on this thought of being adored and affirmed of by everybody you interact with, you circled like a frantic individual, putting many masks and a great many costumes and before long, you start to distinguish yourself with these covers and ensembles. You start to feel that you are unified with them. What's more, at last, you lose all sense of direction in the group, getting to be noticeably one of the millions, if not billions, of individuals who have no clue their identity and what they remain for. the privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.

we should live freely without any burden of expectations if we don't we would just be exhausted and we can't even handle of the pressure of that expectations so its better to live in the way we want without listening to any other just listening to our heart and soul.

having low expectations help us live in the present. The decisions / choices of life come one-by-one in the moment. Expectations forever push you look ahead, mentally entrap you in the future. Like a chess player you’re always thinking 8 moves out – what should I do, how will others react, how will respond, how can I get them to react in the way I expect, what if they question my decision….etc.
Keep it simple. What do I want right now. Done. Act. See what happens next.

Expecting a certain thing limit ourself from achieving the best and bound us to live in a limited area of thinking which is not the best idea to have but if we live in a unexpected manner and keep believing in our abilities we can achieve more further and beyond which will help all and we shall overcome the greatness like Bruce lee has set an example for us :)

having realistic expectations is good than having unrealistic ones because you have the sense of achieving it in way that would lead them through different stages of challenges the realistic expectations help you to be in control and let you manage things in a certain order which not make you feel tense and provide the ability on the control of your anger which may be brutal if you don't have.

Stop expecting other people to act exactly as you would like them to it’s a game you’re guaranteed to lose if we play that way of expecting things. Instead, try being open to any and all reactions from others and learn from it no matter if we are wrong too we would learn from it and will achieve something new.

most of people in the society thought people should have to live with their boundaries. means education, jobs, and family etc, and they easily set some boundaries for their life and so that they thought others will follow you to become success.
that is almost nonsense. the man who lives the life with his fully understating about himself will be the winner. as he is always feel the life rather than suffering someone's expectation.
everyone in the society has equal chance to think own and live life as there wish.

We expect too much from this world but should we expect when we don't give our life , we claim that life should be like this or like this just because others may have it that way but we have to learn in order to meet with expectations, we have to work for it
great video..personally i like your posts..you always leave something for us to think..i don't know whether you ll agree with me..this is my personal idea about expectations..i m a person who had so many expectations in the past..but when i failed to achieve them,i was desperate..i was helpless..too much of bonds and too much of expectations can spoil our situation..life is so simple when you have less needs and expectations..that does not mean that you should give up on everything and act like a priest or monk..but life is very simple when you are free from all those materialistic things..but its very hard to practice for commoners like us..but yet if we can do our best and expect less in return life would be with less stress and chaos.. :) that is my point of view..anyway nice video :)
