So many people are found in the habit of making decisions based on their past mistakes. You took a step that have turnout to be wrong and have cost you something great or it's giving you sleepless night. Now you can't make decision anymore by yourself, it's your past making decisions for you. You're been hunted by your past.

Learn From Past Mistakes

Yes it's very important to learn from our past mistakes as it build us and improve our decision making but it's unwise to let those past mistakes influence every decision you make in the aftermath .

Don't let your past action define the new you, you've learnt from it, the next thing to do is move on don't dwell on it anymore. When you keep dwelling on those past mistakes it will equally keep influencing your decision.

The deed has been done, even when you've moved the public perception won't change immediately but you shouldn't be worried about what the people around you will say or do, it's a reality already let them say what they like, You just focus on the new you in no time they will notice the changes.

Focus On the New You

Dwelling on the past bad decisions or mistakes you've made only allow those decisions to keep defining you. You must learn how to forgive your self and move on.

Rather than dwelling in the past focus on the new man inside of you by constant feeding on quality knowledge that will make you a better person.

Every mistakes you make is trying to show you that one area you are lacking in terms of wisdom which is applied knowledge

Remember the popular saying Knowledge is Power

So therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

*Stay Blessed.

Great post very educative .Yes forgetting the past mistakes gives room for one to focus on the future. As individuals we learn from our mistakes and our past is a reference point which is hard to eliminate in our bid to move forward I must say repeating mistakes made in the past shows an unlearning life.Your post has been selected as one of the wining post and have received 70% upvote from @wafrica.curators.
