Perhaps on this day we do not want to regret and conscious ourselves to do good deeds and piety to God because not yet visited with distress and reprisals such as where the previous people who suffered the punishment due to not willing to obey God's command and leave his prohibition.
Humans think that they still have a lot of time and then postpone repentance and neglect in doing good. While death is always stalking age. Very unfortunate if there are still among us who are determined to start emigrating and doing good deeds because they believe NOT TOO THEN, then just sit waiting for guidance from God.
It is true that the guidance belongs to God. But as the business of sustenance, it needs to be cultivated. We need to act and not just wait for the other to feed. So that's how it is hidayah. He needs to be picked up, before the DEAD who came to pick up first.
Remember, death without FEELING & PRESERVATION is a very horrifying ending and a doom that will surely bring in UNCONNECTED INSURANCE WITH WORDS. Regret is useless, because the period can not be postponed initially.
Reflect on the meaning of verses 23-24 of Surah Al-Fajr: "As Hell has declared that day, then man will remember (to be good), and how his memory will be useful to him" will say: "I wish I had given good deeds for my life (in the Hereafter)! "
So regret in this world by seriously doing charity and doing taqwa while still given the opportunity age.
Do not just sit waiting for the coming of God's guidance. There is still much we need to do in this world and there are still many opportunities for us to do good deeds towards the Hereafter.
