Many at time, i hear people say; life is the toughest examination ever made. Many people see life as an examination which needs to be passed with distinction. We don't actually get to write every paper in live independently as decisions are sometimes made for us. The program i am reading was basically chosen for me. If life is an examination, how and why should my early stages which form the foundation of all my struggles be decided by someone who has either enjoyed or is suffering in his current situations in live? Shouldn't i be allowed to experiment and find what best suits me?
Most of us are where we are and limited there because of the coaches that guided us through this tough examination. Having a bad teacher will always amount to you failing in your course of study. Life being the examination in focus, we are all treated the same with the same marking scheme. Every form of success is success but we are all headed towards a kind of success that is morally right and just. I find it really appalling that dreams get shattered as we are being guided in our early stages. We are all treated like a bunch of corporate employees that have and must attend to a strict set of rules like schools which teach us what we should do and not do in live. In the first quarter of our lives when we ought to be exploiting and exploring our potentials, we are clipped in the bud and left to follow a routine. Following a routine is not entirely bad but it becomes a problem if all we keep doing is following routines even at the University level.

Nobody in this world ever made a great name by following the normal routine way of life. Lets take the life of Bill Gate into consideration. Bill Gate, one of the worlds most richest and influential men had to make a firm decision to stop college and concentrate on his dreams. His dream was to build a computer which back at then was ridiculed upon. He actually couldnt picture for himself a time when computers would be found in every single home on the planet. His curiosity and passion was his drive and motivation. Bill was not an average student and his dream drove him far when he was in college. He started his first company when he was in College and dropped out of school to pursue it. I will as for one not agreed with him dropping out of school but it was actually the right decision for him.
The life of Bill should be a motivation to us all yet we are still stuck in this insane never ending routine ways of building a future and not focusing pretty much on our dreams. Let put the story of Mark Zuckerberg in play. A college student. Loved computer and dedicated to building a software in his college years. Said no to school when everyone in his life advised him, it was the way and came out with FACEBOOK which has turned him into a billionaire. Most people will see the similarities between these two bright men to be dropping out of college and becoming a millionaire. The truth is, there are more college dropouts who cant put a three square mill on their tables in their homes. They cant even take care of themselves how much more of others. The moral rather in this story is to be a dream chaser with vision. They all had opportunities and dreams which merged into their vision.

We are all not Mark and Bill that is why our standard of living still remains where they are. They had their dreams and nothing stood in their way. Nothing stood in their way not because there was nothing to stand in there. They personally removed all obstacles to make sure it happen. We can only fail once in this life we are living. And if we are ever to fail, we need to fail rightfully by trying. We need to start making the difficult decisions that will lead us to our future and make that great stride that we want and have to make. We are all a figment of our imagination and our future is defined by what we do kum what we have done already. We all face this obstacle of life success together. That which defines your success is achieving your aim.

Thats it. Obstacles are always there but we need to learn how to overcome them and chase it.
I agree with you that we should chase our dreams. You see the truth is if you don't chase yours, others will make you chase theirs and you will wake up someday to regret that you never chased yours.

Life is an experiment and we are the cause of our happiness or suffering. But we need to follow our dreams and believe in ourselves. What ever other people see as a failure, can be a success for us. We are here to try different things and learn from every step we do.

Yeah perfect message but potentials and obstacles seem to be joint stock in Africa, Mark and Bill very done, but this continent called Africa things do not work like other. In Ghana here who can be an example of a school drop with success smile on him or her there's no way you will not mention Despite yeah i agree apart from him who else they all did it through in education.
I hope there will be system that will help us we those on the Africa continent to discover our potentials

We all have dreams to chase and the question is why not Now before we won't be able to chase it anymore
Had I not followed my dreams early on in my career, I would never have had as many published books to my credit. I love to teach and encourage others to do just as you have done here, @tj4real. To follow your dreams.
It saddens me to see people quit and give up. In spite of all the hard knocks and setbacks, it never occurred to me to quit. Ever!!
