Le Mans - Valentino Rossi is satisfied with the results in the first two MotoGP French practice 2018. Especially after the difficulties he faced in the previous race at Jerez.
The Yamaha Movistar rider finished the Spanish MotoGP race at Jerez then in fifth position, 8 seconds adrift from Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) who became the winner.
Now Rossi is preparing to face the French MotoGP at Le Mans. The results of the two initial exercises that took place on Friday (18/05/2018) made him happy.

"It's new (practice) on Friday, but it's been good initially, to be honest, even more positive than I expected," Rossi was quoted as saying by Crash.net.
"In Jerez we knew we were going to suffer, but then we went through tests at Mugello and there I still felt slow, so I'm really worried before too."
"But on this circuit our bike is going very well, it's only Friday, but I like it, it's a lot more fun than in Jerez," he said.
