This would really be short. Gringos is about a black guy married to a white woman and also working for a white man.
The man was also his friend. Anyway, they went on a business trip and from there he found out that the man was sleeping with his wife. So he arranged to have himself kidnapped so he can get some money and start a new life.
The boss changed his mind about paying and decided to have him killed so that the company can get the insurance money.
God smiled on the dude later, he didn't die and he still got the money.

David Oyelowo killed this one! His acting in Gringo was spectacular and for such a serious story line, the movie was absolutely hilarious. He was the underdog who had been used badly by his bosses and who eventually go the better of everything. I loved the movie...The part where he prayed in yoruba language was so funny and the have God answer him so speedily was fantastic. Beautiful movie indeed!

Looking at this movie, I know it will be very interesting , I love the mixture (whites and the black) , that black man must be funny, what if they get him killed in the process of the arranged kidnapping? Well I think I will have to get this movie one of this days, nice job mama Ibe . Keep the fire burning

Geez! I am not a racist o, but i don't really like the combo of Africans +whites because it does not really seem sincere to me.
It is so unfortunate that friends now betray each other without thinking twice. This reminds me of how before going to war, a king locked his beautiful in a room and gave his bestfriend the keys to only open it 2 weeks after that day, especially if he does not return. Only for the bestie to run after the king a few minutes later saying that the king gave him the wrong key.
I am not paranoid o, but I dont trust people... At all.
Hmm... The idea of arranging to get himself kidnapped... I know a classmate who tried that in order to get himself some money from his parents, but at the end of the day, it backfired. It was discovered and his parents disowned her.
The fact that his friend wanted to kill him and get the insurance money is just too bad. I am really curious how he was able to get the money from those cheaters.
I am really eager to watch this movie, and I hope I can get it online, lemme see David Oyelowo in action. Nice one @oredebby. I have not been active on discord... But i would try to be there...
