This morning I looked out the window, and was a little surprised at the minimum amount of snow here in Kyiv, Ukraine. But it still winter here and we will definitely have a lot of snow in the following weeks.
Thus, I immediately have praised the gods of the North and switched on this excellent compilation of the best tracks of the Norwegian dark-folk band Wardruna.
Exactly what you need to listen at such a winter time. Especially if you want something instrumental and spiritual. For example, infinitely beautiful folk ambient mixed with traditional Scandinavian chants and folk instruments. You listen this and then you just start to see the way to Valhalla. :)
By the way, a lot of the band’s tracks were included in the soundtrack of the cool tv-series "Vikings". And the band leader Kvitrafn also played a role there.
So may the blessing of the Odin descend on you and your feet do not slide on the ice.
