I was expecting a Jazz record, but then I heard something a little out of the ordinary.... and then I read your text and the puzzle pieces fell together :) Nice track indeed.
Love Theo Parrish! And this is a great tune -- I hadn't heard it before. Complex and layered. This track came up for me next and is a fitting transition, I think.
