I met this wonderful girl in the night of the arts festival in Turku last summer. She played a Ukranian traditional instrument and today you have the chance to listen to it! In this blog I'll also present various instruments to show you how similar instruments can be so similar and different at the same time. It's truly fascinating!
Bandura is today's mystery instrument that is plucked like a string instrument. It's very interesting to see similar, but very different lutes around the world. If you see the Afghani lute rabab, it's another lute instrument that is very different from the bandura.
