That is awesome news about your first sale and the significance of the date too being on 8/8! I remember my first sale of my music and it doesn't happen often but when it does you want to give a massive hug to the person that liked your music or creation so much they went out and bought it!

I love synchronicity and numbers and special dates like that Nicky.
I used to sell my silk paintings and collages at different craft events around Sydney and always felt a tremendous amount of gratitude to the people who appreciated my work that much that they bought it. It brings back memories now of how it actually felt when in direct contact with a buyer. YES ~ I'd love to be able to give the person who bought this image now, a heartfelt hug.
Up until now, it was only possible for digital visual artists/photographers to upload images/GIFs to a Makers Place gallery. But it's now going to be possible for video artists, which I'd have to check, but I presume will include sound artists, to upload their work at Makers Place too. This may interest you? ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎

I've just spent the last few days updating my website to make it look a little more professional but I am on that border of being a serious hobbyist. I love what I do and create but I can't live off of it so day job and side hustle for now 🙂

Thanks a lot @allyinspirit! I'll have to do some more research on this if it's not possible for just sound. Video art makes it sound like it's graphics and things like that? Is MP connected to steem then?

Makers Place is quite independent of Steemit. Work is purchased with Etherium or credit card.
I think if you aren't into graphics/animation etc for music videos you could do just the one image as a cover image and leave the emphasis on the sound. ♥︎♥︎⚖️♥︎♥︎
