You've been put in the shoes of an overprivileged 20 years old. With very few goals other than not failing out of college. Its summer time, you decided to take one summer class because, its summer.
You recently met a new friends group because a lot of your friends left college for the summer. This new friends group is a bit wild. They don't drink very often but they are very interested in drugs. Specifically the newer drugs, research chemicals. Cause one of the friends orders drugs off the internet, some dark web shit. Crazy times man, shout outs to crypto currency.
This weekend they got a new drug. Something you can't pronounce and cant really remember the name of. It comes in the form of a powder. People are excited. Its kind of a ritual for this group to try new things.
So as per usual, an anthem is played. Spoiler alert its the Cashmere Cat Miguel song. Out of courtesy the girls dance up to the plate to be the first to snort the illicit substance from the internet. You watch intently. What is this one gonna be like? Pupils widen and smiles spread. As the girls dance more heavily, you decide you want to experience this. The vibes, too good.
"Do you like drugs? Ya well me too." Chemicals rush, brightness increases, the music becomes insatiable. Interacting with friends, smiles consistent. An impromptu trip is taken to Taco Bell. No cars, just feet. Fruit is picked on the summer day, dancing to the feeling shared by a group that has never felt it before. A bonding you wouldn't expect.

Cashmere Cat is a brilliant Norwegian DJ. With a unique electronic sound, more elegant and entrancing than many of his counterparts. 30 year old Magnus August Høiberg (Cashmere Cat) found a lot of fame with his song Mirror Mau. This is how I first was exposed to Cashmere Cat. Fell in love with it real quick. But had friends that questioned some of the sounds as "annoying" in the song. Like the bed creaking sound, or squeaky toy sound. But hey its creative, give it a listen.
Miguel is now one of the biggest pop stars of our day. Was brilliant for Cashmere Cat to gain exposure by remixing "Do You" (play it below).
Miguel has popped off sense he was a wee lad. Born in LA now 32, he's been slaying honeys for a long time. With his soothing vocals, and summer vibes. You cant go wrong throwing some Miguel songs in at the boat party.
He's been partnering with rappers for a long time. Working with Kendrick Lamar and Jcole. Creating some huge hits like Power Trip feat. J Cole and more recently Come Through And Chill. Linked below.
