Hive can save millions of Musicians and Artists!
As a musician myself I know that just trying to even get your music heard is hard.. not to mention earning anything from it!
But with Hive it is easy for ANY musician or artist to post their work and get paid for their upvotes!
That has never been possible before..
Until now.. Hive has created a new digital world AND digital economy that gives anyone the ability to post and earn :D
Is there enough support right now for this type of content?
I have not been seeing a lot of music or art "trending" that much, and that concerns me.. because a lot of these artists/musicians are going to spend all of their time on the social network that they can have the best chance of getting their content out there.. and obviously start earning from it!
Imagine if we had more of them on here..
Honestly I spend all of my time on Hive these days, but it doesn't seem like I am coming across much of a variety of content. Yes there is a lot of users that post informational stuff about Hive, and that's great, but imagine if we had more of a variety like music and art posts as well.. This would inspire people to post even more great content on Hive!
Will this cause a spam problem?
I don't think so..
There will always be spam issues on any social media site, and the great thing about Hive is that the community can easily prevent those type of posts from littering the tags by flagging them.
So my main point is that if we are upvoting and allowing people to earn from Hive for great ideas and cool stories.. Then we should be open to sending that support to the incoming artists/musicians to motivate them to bring their fans and more of their content to Hive!
yes great use of this platform we just need to get rid of the bots and this will be a perfect kickstarter type platform for many different things
I agree with you and as a musician I will deliver content.
Steemit is great because we can finally choose which music is the music we want getting payed and that's good for not only musicians, but for music lovers.

I know what you mean, but myself I have 3 kids and I barely have enough to re-string my guitar sometimes so I'm sure if other people were in the same boat then they would be willing and have the funds to make more music or even art if they were earning money for sharing it..
I never had time to create when I was chasing money. Now, I wake up everyday and decide what I want to create. I make music, build guitars, fix things for friends, invent diy green tech, hike, fish, hunt, play. I always thought that once I got more money, I'd have more time but that was never the case so I just quit. Then I realized that the stress of it all was killing what little creativity I had left.

I thought this platform was designed to give innovators a chance to network and support each other. I used to post here in hopes of finding tribe but quit blogging due to some platform issues that I don't like. I comment on interesting posts now to help others that seem like cool people by sharing info with them that has helped me, in an attempt to steer the site back to something more altruistic, and also in hopes of finding people to collaborate with. It's not always about the money, and things are usually better when it's not.
