Indonesia has a gold tower at central Zakarta, this 137 metre tall monument is a symbol of Republic of Indonesia. In 1961, President Soekarno began the construction, it was designed by architect Frederick & Soedarsono and the main contractor was Adhi Karya. There is a gold foil at the top of the Tower and museum at the bottom. It was inaugurated on 12th July 1975, it commemorate the struggle & sacrifice of for the Indonesian Independence.
