It depends on person to person. But, I did love to become a farmer and there are a various reasons to it.

1. They are serving the society with food, imagine if we didn't have farmers from where the food would have come?

2. Farmers live a healthy life by eating healthy food and working out daily in the fields.

3. Farmers need not worry about traffic.

4. Farmers breathe the fresh air and our far away from polluted cities

Hence, overall looking at the various advantages listed above of being a farmer, I did love to become a farmer.

My aunt and uncle live on a farm and I used to go there in the summers and work on the farm.  While most farmers are actually quite wealthy due to the value of their land, it is just a hard job.

If I could be the guy driving the tractor that would be one thing, but when I am the guy hoeing beans and shoveling corn into the auger, that is just a days worth of excruciating pain.

Not to mention if you have cattle getting cow crap all over you and getting zapped by the electric fence every time you forget and touch it.

Farmers do have an important place in our world.  They bring many wonderful things to our  home and tables.  It takes a special person to be a farmer and I just don't think I have the stamina for it!

I believe when it comes to any profession, it is all about our preferences and aspirations. For example nursing, medicine are seen as honourable professions that save life but not all will choose this path. So in thesame way, in as much as farmers do a lot for nations and the society and their work is admirable not all will choose this path.

For me, i have always admired farmers and farming, i tried it out but it just wasn't my thing to be honest. I could hardly make a day in the farm and that is why i respect farmers because i know what it entails.

I love computers and technology and with the advances in technology to its usage in agriculture, i think i can come in handy in this way in farming and will love to try it out again as a farmer. But for the manual hands-on work, that might be out of my league for now..

Permit me to say, that not everybody does not want to become a farmer. There are many of my friends that are studying agriculture in school that plan to graduate and introduce modern methods into farming. They love it and are studying in that sector. So there are always people out there that still have love for farming.

I have asked myself this question a lot of times! Depending on the situation, I wouldn't be against the idea of being a farmer! I quite enjoy myself being around animals and if the location is nice and I'm able to sustain myself and the farm economically while maintaining a nice internet connection, I would totally give it a shot! The peace of mind you probably get working at a farm where there are not that many worries is invaluable!
