Krakatoa islands are located in the sunda strait flanked by the island of Sumatra and the island of Java. Administratively, the krakatau islands are in the sub-district of Rajabasa, Lampung Selatan, Lampung Province. The islands of krakatau are a nature reserve area (CA) as well as a marine reserve (CL). In 1991, UNESCO recognized the krakatau islands as well as the Ujung Kulon National Park as a world natural heritage. on the islands of krakatau there is a mountain called Krakatoa volcano that once erupted in 1883 which is one of the most deadly and most destructive volcanic eruptions in history. However, in 1927 there appeared a volcano known as my krakatau. Mountain krakatau become the main attraction for scientists who want to make observations and scientific research as well as domestic and foreign visitors who want to feel the hot volcanic sand.
