Not really "blank" but it will make most steem front ends (Steemit, Busy, etc) "hide" your blog post/comment on their platform requiring some to click "SHOW" first before they can view the account's post/comment. Images used on the said post is also hidden.
ONLY accounts with Reputation of ZERO or below (-negative) are automatically hidden.
This actually is a good feature on Steem as it allows one to somehow gauge that accounts trustability without going to his/her blog posts.
All accounts start with a Reputation of 25 and increases if they get an upvote from other users and decreases if they get a downvote. Although it is worth to note that a downvote will only reduce one's reputation if the downvoter has a higher reputation than the downvotee.
The more low an accounts reputation is, the more likely they are a fraud/scammer/phisher/ spammer on the blockchain. Of course there are also a possibility that they anger someone with a big stake on the platform enough to be downvoted below to zero but in most cases reputation is a quick way to measure an accounts trustability on the blockchain and as a good security measure their posts must be hidden to the general public.
That was very specific, thanks. A couple of us had that question in our head.
