Hi friends,
This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.
With time off for the Thanksgiving Holiday, we took the opportunity to go with some family (including a bunch of the kids cousins) and go to an area outside of the city - back in time to old farms and barns:
The particular farm we visited is an apple orchard, and has a number of animals. They also have colonial style buildings and have tried to preserve that historical past, with the employees dressing in old timey clothes and teaching visitors things like candle making and blacksmithing.
The kids had good time and it was a fun adventure.
Thanks for coming by and checking out a piece of my California.
Brian
have fun
Old houses are always beautiful because villages always become more beautiful than the city, everything can be seen there.
It is informative for kids to see how things were in past.
It looks like this Thanksgiving ceremony mostly happens in America
What’s the Thanksgiving about?
