This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @thesocalhive where we share an aspect of our California.
This last week I got to do something I have never done before in Southern California - go to SoFi Stadium!
This is a new stadium in Englewood that was completed during the Covid pandemic. The venue hosts the LA Chargers and LA Rams football teams, and many stadium tour events.
A friend and I went and cheered on the Chargers on Monday, as they defeated the Denver Broncos. We didn’t have the greatest seats, but it was a very cool stadium! Both ends are “open” so it is an indoor-outdoor feel with a fresh air breeze coming right through it. Here is a panoramic view from our seats:
A great experience and I look forward to getting back there again soon!
