Wow. Very useful writing. And I got to know you a little better. Thanks for sharing this with us.I will accept a lot. And you are so creative. You are very inspiring.
I didn't know the idea came from you. A friend invited me to write mine which I did yesterday and sincerely it was fun reading some entries too including yours. Thank you.
I looked up a lot to @papa-pepper he was an inspiration to us newbies back in the days. I remembered the farm, his engagement with Nigerians back then, was one of the reasons I went on. It was an inspiration piece. Wow, It's really been a long time
Thanks for posting! I find it amazing that you had such a hard time in school with your writing. It is funny how things change as adults. I realize more and more how little our lives as adults have to do with our childhood years- as in learning new tasks and the relationships we have as adults. Our childhood in some ways has everything to do with who we become as adults. It is interesting to see how people blossom from who they were as children and teens.
I think that meeting new people through the communities is good, and also being yourself, because you are correct that that is who will shine through in the end.
The surroundings of Steemit.....the people........gave me the courage to be the real me when writing and learning. This never would have happened other than on the blockchain. Why I love it here so much.
Really nice tapping from the Newbie view point of you guys we look up to. For a moment I forgot you guys were once newbies.
Be yourself. If you try to be anyone else, it will show in the end.
My intention on Hive was to be anonymous but fortunately I fell in love with the blockchain and I made here my home. It’s way easier to be yourself than to be someone or something else. Thanks for this
I flunked spelling every year I was in school. I received a D grade in English class all through school except for the year I failed the second semester of my Junior year and had to take it over my senior year to graduate High School.
This is so me but worst. Portuguese is my 'installed by default' language, but mom insisted I should learn English, so she paid an English school... still, failed and failed. I'm still amused to this day how the hell I ended up teaching English years later.
Going to answer the questions to celebrate my four years here.
Here's my entry ❤️ Thanks for running this, it was good to remember just how short my journey here has actually been so far. Feels like I've been here forever 🙌
Being yourself is one of the best advice one can give to a newbie. Also focusing on being long term pays a lot in many ways. Those relationships formed along the way, are like Gold and that's what truly define a built account.

I think a lot of people forget that we all/99% started in the same place as everyone.
That this place takes hard work and frustration and laughter and a TON of learning but that the people make it worthwhile, while the years go by.
Yes, THIS IS my Home. Always has been from day one.
Just goes to show you... no one is ever too old to learn, myself included. 😄
yes even us oldtimers are never to young to learn LOLLL
Loved your story! I guess I need to stop procrastinating and do mine
THANK YOU!! and thanks for writing yours. I read it before I took a much needed nap so going there now to comment on it :D

HAAAAAAAAAAA God works in mysterious ways :D
Maybe they people needed a teacher that could understand their struggles because you had them and knows what it feels like.
That's so true, I could understand why they were failing.
