"Baiturrahman Greand Mosque" which became the icon of religious tourism in aceh and had entered into the nomination in AFF Award 2017.
This mosque also has a great historical value in the era of the Sultanate of the Kingdom of Aceh Darussalam in 1625 AD.
And now this mosque became one of the religious tourism destinations as well as the mosque pride of the people of Aceh.
And in 2004 ago when the tsunami hit, this mosque also accommodates about a thousand people labih to save themselves by climbing the mosque building.
This museum is a monument that deliberately designed as a center of education and emergency shelter as well as storing second-hand items affected by the Tsunami in 2004 ago.
The building itself was designed by "Mr Ridwan Kamil", and he is an architect from Indonesia and now he serves as mayor of Bandung.
This form of design of the building also makes a symbol of the religious beliefs of the tribe of Aceh who formed the traditional house of Aceh.
Not only history, your eyes will be spoiled by the part of the building called "The Well of Prayer" in which there is written lafadz "Allah" and the names of Tsunami victims and in the center of the building you can see 54 flags from 54 countries that helping Aceh post Tsunami.

Lampu'uk Beach is the best tourist destination today, making this beach as a paradise of surfers from around the world and also become a favorite beach for the locals when the weekend arrives.
Being in the village "Lampu'uk" district "Aceh Besar" makes this beach as a beach that has a long sea line. and no wonder if the results of the surve mention this beach gets the arrival of 44 thousand to 70 thousand visitors each year.
