Out on my regular morning dog walk today, we came across this happy little fellow, singing away! without it seams a care in the world.
The Goldfinch has always been one of my favourite song birds of England, there song is so varied and not so repetitive as some others may seam? and this one was giving it some! at this time of the year they compete with other males to attract a female for breeding, between the months of april and may.
I am afraid that the video quality does him no justice (you may have to crank up the volume a bit?) but i hope the audio makes up for my old shakey hands! i hope you enjoy it at least half as much as i did taking and listening to it.
