The Root of the Problem

My Elephant Ear Alocasia started to yellow and I had to cut off most of its leaves.

I had no idea why... I was thinking maybe pest?

My neighbor suggested maybe it was getting sunburnt?

But that wouldn't make sense because it's always been in full sun...

Sooooo I decided to uproot it from its pot and take a look...

Turns out, this plant was totally rootbound and was literally strangling itself.

Root systems are absolutely amazing...

I've expressed to you guys before how interesting I find the roots of plants;
