Amazing Mushroom #002 - Chanterelle (Cantharellus Cibarius Fr.), the undergrowth's gold
This mushroom is commonly used in recipes and has been for thousands of years. Even if it's edible and tasty, it can cause some digestion troubles. To avoid such problems, it is recommended to cut the mushroom in thin slices and to cook it thoroughly, without grilling it too much. See recipes ideas in Useful Links section.

- Color: light yellow
- Habitat: grows in small groups or colonies, in humid conditions
- Season: June to October
- Lookalikes: other types of Cantharellus.
