Rain helps draw out dust and other pollutants from the air which makes the air cleaner. After the rain, the air is still humid and cooler. So, after the rain, I like to stroll around outside to experience the nice atmosphere.
I think life has hope after the rain; i.e. the rain is the beginning of all things. The fog is very thick when the rain stops and everywhere is green, refreshing, pleasing to my eyes and my mood; i.e. it makes me feel refreshed, relaxed and happy.

As far as I know, humans can connect feelings and memories through weather and seasons no matter if it's good or bad memories.
For me, the nice atmosphere after the rain reminds me of my good memories of childhood, i.e. running around after a rainstorm, playing in the rain, or spending time with family. These good memories make me feel good.
Rain always helps to remove dust and make everything fresh.
