RE: Day 100 - Lockdown Didn't End, It Just Changed Shape

in #news4 years ago

Your channel is informative.
My curiosity is about reaching people.
Let's suppose we reach people, then
Why do people continue developing technology through which they create their own prison that's also our prison?
What do you think about that?

Sort:

Such as smart device tracking apps?
I think many people involved are doing it for the right reasons, because they think it will help them and others. A few with evil intentions are able to manipulate the many into believing something will empower and free them when really it is meant to manipulate and profit from them, or worse.
What do you think about it?

You're right. There is no fault: People who create the tech that will imprison them (and also us) believe they do a great job. As long as we don't reach these people, we end up in an accomplished fact: a scenario in which it doesn't matter that we know the truth, because the technology is of such nature that we have to play by their rules, because we have to scan our app (health passport) at every entry point.

  • How effective are we in reaching these people?

What do you think?

I think so far, we have been effective in reaching many (our numbers have grown), but many more are still unreached, and maybe unreachable. It could be that we are swept along, forced to comply, or suffer increasing hardships and discrimination.
Personally I think certain powers that be have access to advanced technology and software. What they have today, we have in 15 to 20 years. So they are likely using advanced simulators and AI to predict just about every move the people are going to make. The technocrats have a good grip on things and this appears to be their big play for all the marbles.
If we reach less and less people as time goes by, and hardships are likely to increase upon us rapidly, at what point so we have to change strategy? And to what.

You're right: they have tech on their side.
Still, What can we say about their tech:

  • is it in our circle of influence or
  • is it outside our influence?

When are we more effective:

  • when we focus on what we can influence or
  • when we focus on what we can't influence?

What are some stuff we can influence?
Do you think we can improve the way we share the message?
Part of improving it, might be: being aware of what's wrong.
What's the flaw in our current approach?
When we know the flaw, we might have more chances at correcting it, at improving it.

What do you think?
