Hi Steemians! So I have some pretty shocking news...
The actor Mark Salling from the hit TV show "Glee" was found dead this morning apparently ruled as a suicide.. BUT before you go and say rest in piece let me tell you the other shocking news.
Mark Salling was awaiting sentencing after he plead guilty to child pornography charges..WOW. He was caught with more than 50,000 images and 600 videos of prepubescent children on his computer. He was facing up to 7 years in prison..
In my honest opinion it's pretty disturbing to see all of Rest In Piece posts online.. not to say his death isn't sad and going to affect his loved ones. But...RIP?? Really? He was a guilty of child pornography.. a convicted pedophile at this point. I think he took the easy way out on this one. Just because he was a great actor and I personally loved the show, that doesn't give him a pass. In my eyes.. it's 1 less pedo on the streets.
I know I may seem a little harsh on this but keep in mind I loved the show..but guess what I also love my little brothers and nephews who are CHILDREN. I would hate for someone like that to eventually back out in society where he could potentially harm and abuse a child. Like I said my heart goes out to his family I hope they can try to find some sort of peace in this time.
