Nah. Rumors of his retirement were in the press for a while. Liberal justices tend to retire during Democratic administrations, and more conservative justices tend to retire during Republican administrations. This is no different.
Kennedy is 81, going on 82 years of age. He was at retirement age 17 years ago. I think this is all just conspiracy theory stuff.
