Former cricket star Imran Khan took oath as Pakistan's 22nd Prime Minister Today at 10 am local time on Saturday the oath ceremony began with national anthem. Earlier, the Quran was recited first.
In the President House Iwan-e-Sadar, President Mamnoon Hussein has given an oath to Imran. During that time, Imran saw water in the eyes but there was a smile on the face, the BBC said.
Chief of the caretaker government Nasirul Mulk, National Assembly Speaker Asad Kaiser, Army Chief General Kamar Javed Bazwa, Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Navy Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmoud Abbasi, Former Indian Cricketer Navjet Singh Sidhu, Former Pakistani Cricketer Ramiz Raja and Wasim Akram, Musicians Salman Ahmed and Abararul Haque, Ab Keranina jabida Sheikh, former National Assembly speaker said. Fehmida Mirza was present at the ceremony.
His father was not present on this special day. Imran's former wife, Jeimima, said in a tweet: "The boys wanted to go but did not have them." But came Imran's current wife Bushra Imran. Then Imran went to the Prime Minister's house in his official residence. There he was given a guard of honor by the three forces.
On Friday, 176 members of the National Assembly of the National Assembly voted for him. Pakistan's Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, now shaky with the bat and ball, has now got the power to rule the country.
Imran Khan's rival candidate for the post of Prime Minister was Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif. In the voting, 96 members of the National Assembly voted for Shahbaz. After the voting, the newly elected Speaker of the National Assembly, Assad Kaiser, announced the results.

Imran's team, PTI, won the maximum number of 116 seats in Pakistan National Assembly elections on July 25. However, due to the lack of necessary 137 seats for the formation of the government, the party will have to form a coalition government with small parties and independent candidates.
PML-N has been accused of rigging since elections. The party got the second highest seat in the elections. The Pakistan People's Party (PPP), a former prime minister of Pakistan's former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, won the third highest number of seats in the elections. PML-N and PPP also announced a joint strategy to work together to combine crusade in the elections. But the Prime Minister could not agree on the two parties.
