I don't know about you, but military or not, I highly fucking doubt you'd have the armed forces actually taking orders to attack their families / civilians. As deep as the military indoctrination goes I think if it boiled down to it, those in the armed forces would stand up to tyranny.
The US military is trying to go woke as fast as possible.
However, that is kinda hard since most who think to join the military and do things like "defend the country" are conservatives. It is just not a path that is compelling to a neo-liberal.

The other thing is that The US president (not to be confused with America) Biden thinks that the F-15 and nukes are his power. Unfortunately these toys require a group of people to maintain and run them, and they rely on a group of people willing to do jobs like pump oil and grow food.

I wonder if Biden has ever heard of Afghanistan. The taliban don't have any nukes or F-15s and they're still going strong after 20 years of war. At least they didn't have F-15s, we just handed over Bagram air base to the "local government" in Afghanistan. Maybe they have them now.
