The USA plunders a settler with "dizelgeytny" cars

Cars of the German concern Volkswagen began to vanish with the parking in the State of Michigan.

At once several tens of the diesel Volkswagen and Audi cars were stolen from the thrown Silverdome stadium in the American city Pontiac, writes Theoaklandpress.com. According to the edition, it is known at least of 69 gone cars now. In total on the parking is several hundred diesel cars which were mixed in so-called "dizelgeyt".

According to local police, the stolen cars were taken out to the next states and sold there at auctions for false documents. For example, one of local dealers bought at such auction 32 cars at once, having been sure of their "white" history. It is noted that the seller paid not less than 11 000 dollars for each car.

Now 22 cars from "black" party are returned already back on the parking.

Diesel scandal ran high in the fall of 2015 when the American authorities convicted Volkswagen AG concern of a juggling of the harmful substances given according to contents in exhausts of diesel cars. Then claims arose also at the European regulators. The concern had to withdraw a part of the products, and all дизейльгейт mentioned more than 10 million cars worldwide. Total costs of concern because of diesel scandal already exceeded $19,2 billion.

Earlier the Volkswagen concern stated that it redeemed and repaired more than a half of diesel cars which appeared in the center of "dizelgeyt" in the USA. We will remind that in the American market 475 thousand cars with the 2-liter diesel engine on which the illegal software underestimating data on harmful emissions was established were revealed.

In the documents of Volkswagen sent to the judge it was reported that the company carried out share repurchase of nearly 238 thousand vehicles, 6 thousand more cars were repaired. In total till 2019 the producer is obliged to repair or redeem to 85% of the diesel cars implemented in the USA. Otherwise Volkswagen waits for a new penalty.
