For the verge community it was a very intense week. And the reason for this intensive week is because the verge group asked there community to come together and crowd-fund an amount of 75 million verge.
Why you ask? Well.. Verge needed to come up with the 75 million of xvg that is approximately 3 million dollars worth. So they could partner with a very big company which the name of is still unknown to the public. But because verge doesn’t have any verge pre-mined or stored somewhere they need to relay on there community that showed up in a big way because today we finally got the news that the verge community DID IT! With a HUGE help of TokenPay that nearly donated 90% off the 75 million verge.
Nevertheless, I think this shows how good the verge community is!
If the 75million verge was not met the company would not partner with verge and all the verge would be used for development and other related verge stuff, you could say it would be a win win either way.
The company
from what I understand there has never been a partnership with a company from this caliber EVER IN CRYPTO HISTORY. Don’t hold me accountable this is what they let me believe and if this is true this would mean allot of good things for crypto in general. The company is working globally and this would help verge adoption in a major way.
On the 16th of April the name of the company would be shared with the public. Some people are suggesting that the company we are talking about could be pornhub or amazon.
