Apple is rumored to be holding a device launch event on October 30. Along with information on the launch time, OnePlus announced that it was changing the launch date of the OnePlus 6T phone.
Apple's program on the iPad at the end of this month is claimed to dominate the technology news cycle. OnePlus does not want the next flagship smartphone not publicly known because of Apple's launch, so OnePlus plans to change the launch date.
The company said that after sufficient consideration with the press contact it was confirmed that if stuck with the original launch date it would be overshadowed by Apple. "So after deep reflection, we have decided to move the OnePlus 6T Launch Event in New York City to October 29," the company said.
OnePlus offers to replace all costs faced because the date is changed. Those of you who have a ticket and cannot attend 29 will be able to apply for a full refund.
