OCD's support is expanding!

Hello everyone! This is the 2006 compilation post of OCD's latest curation efforts. It has been known that OCD has been supporting leading niche communities under its Community Incubation Program. However, there are still a lot of other niche communities not supported by OCD. This curation initiative will help in supporting those communities.

This newest curation effort aims to encourage authors to post in appropriate communities even if those communities are not under the incubation program. This will also encourage users to explore more into the different communities in Hive.

How this Works

OCD curators and community leaders will find posts from other niche communities and recommend them for an upvote. Unlike those communities in the incubation program where curation is focused, this curation initiative is spread out. This will help find undervalued posts from smaller communities that deserve support.

This will highlight both the author and the community where the post is located. This way, smaller niche communities can focus on growing their subscribers and increasing the engagements within their respective communities. A small boost goes a long way.

Speaking of boost, here are the curated posts for this batch:

A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING (Week 254)

There are so many people in this world who do not even dream of driving a car, that if they had the opportunity to do so, the model would be insignificant. What matters is that it has four wheels, an engine and runs. I count myself among them. For now, I am happy with my electric bicycle, although I did not have the opportunity to choose the brand of my preference. Price imposed its dictatorial mandate. I don't want this to be interpreted as a complaint, I don't usually do that. I'm just stating a fact that is the reality for millions of other people right now.

Hive Open Mic Week #262 | This Is the Christ (Cover) by @yisusth

Greetings to the entire Open Mic community. In this week #262, we explore the theme: "Holy Week." I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of "This Is the Christ," a beautiful hymn composed by Michael Finlinson Moody and James E. Faust. It is a testimony to Christ and narrates some events from his incomparable life. This musical piece is in G Major, a 4/4 time signature with a medium vocal range and a melodic contour with soft phrases and sustained notes in the chorus to reaffirm the message. One of my favorite arrangements is the one by the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square under the direction of Mack Wilberg. I consider it an ideal hymn for this time, and it has a solemn character that invites reflection. I remember, as a missionary for the Church, listening to this melody every morning, both in English and Spanish.

The field 🚜, no more than three days 🫢. Week 254

If we talk about health, of course, the city also offers many benefits, health centers, health care centers with specialists to treat various diseases, in short, the city offers many advantages, but it also has many disadvantages; at least the city is very stressful the amount of people, in particular I do not like to go downtown in high season, as for example the case of December, going downtown is totally stressful, people push you, they always bump into you, everything looks like a fair, for everything you have to queue 🥴, if you go to the malls, if you go to the market, if you go to the bank to withdraw money, everything involves a huge queue, in public transport people push you, you are overlapped, you always have to go against the time ☹️

Mi FBF en una tienda de animé y manga (Esp/Eng)

As I have said in some of my publications, my relationship with the world of anime began formally after the pandemic, when my eldest son began to urge me to see what he saw. That's how I got to know Death Note, the first series I watched with him during lunch hours, to then move on to more raw and deep themes, which go beyond the simple drawing as they have a very powerful background.

Random Objects - Apis Hive [ENG/ESP]

Hello, friends and community. I definitely didn't want to miss the opportunity to participate in the Apis Hive First Contest - Random Objects, so I got to work creating a series of personalized objects with the theme. Today, I'm sharing this entry with all the detailed processes. It took me quite a bit of time compared to other Hive contests, but I am very happy with the result—extremely customized and useful. Come join me on this journey!

Dibujando Mujer Aries [ESP/ENG]

As always, here again, with another sign, to inspire us, let us get carried away by the imagination, and show our talent; in the previous ones, I have dedicated myself to make digital designs focused on each sign; however, currently I have problems with my computer (yes again), where I have had to retake the old PC, which, well I said, is not very optimal, it costs me a lot to create there, to design; then no way, always other alternatives, and as I like to draw a little, what better opportunity than this to apply it.

Hive: iniciando la aventura/Hive: Beginning the Adventure- Hive Easter Moments Challenge [ENG-ESP]

I arrived at the Hive Universe a few months ago. I confess it was difficult for me. I'm not very skilled with social media and thought blockchain was something similar. To my surprise and luck, I was wrong. Hive is much more than a simple space to post random content without any further pretensions. Hive is serious business, and as such, I began to embrace it.

El Voleibol: Donde El Equipo Es Fundamental ≤||≥ Volleyball: Where Team is Fundamental [🇪🇸/🇺🇸]

On this occasion, like any Tuesday, after an intense Monday of classes, I was quite calm because I didn't have much homework and I was just waiting to go to play, so when four o'clock came, I was ready and prepared to play. Then when I got there they were all gathered, they still hadn't set up the net, so after a while, they started to bring the tubes and set up the net, and while they were doing that, the others were shooting free throws to get into the teams. This time I was able to be in the first game, but as always the first game is a game of joking, so there were quite a few mistakes, and more on our side, resulting in the loss of our team. The craziest thing about all this, was that after having lost in a crushing way, we found ourselves with a not very strong team, but with which I was able to win absolutely all the games after the first round. In which I could notoriously improve my reception, attack and set up, and also with the help of my team, we managed to crown ourselves as unbeatable and take the absolute victory. So this match reflects, that even if your team is not the best, if you unite as one, and everyone fulfills their pre-established role, we can form an unstoppable team, that even if you do not have the best players, if you learn to work as a team, you can achieve wonders. I hope that you will keep on giving up, and never give up on anything.
