I'm currently in Hamburg to visit my family as my Mum turned 90 on Friday. There isn't a big party, but rather small groups of the closer family on separate days so it doesn't get too much for her. She's physically still ok but can get a little nervous quickly.

Saving strangers seems risky anyway. They could be leftists (only jokin’… sort of), or worse, politicians. Since I wouldn’t have time for a quick get to know you session before launching the rescue, I’d need a way to separate the needy from the greedy, the wheat from the chaff. Maybe I’d pick the ones not wearing tracksuit bottoms, or the first to do ten push-ups…survival of the fittest and all that.

There always has to be something done on the boat whether if it is broken (even if you are renting it and not even owning a boat, that would makes it a lot more priority always), or you have to preventively do something, or even if there is a window of opportunity in the weather which means that is the moment to prepare some food.... Because you know...That opportunity might be gone later and that means you have to cook at a 17 degree angle which is not the most flashy thing to do if you prefer to not have your food flying around.

I thought I wouldn't have time to upload my entry this week, and I'm happy I managed to do it despite the various setbacks I had while recording my video. One of the things I love most about singing is harmonizing, more than being the lead singer. When I hear a song, I immediately start singing the second voice. Sometimes it's frustrating not to be able to do that in the videos I post on Hive, since it usually takes a lot of my time to edit, but I think this song deserved all the time in the world because it's a song I've known for many years and, of course, I love it.

I hadn't planned to share my views and opinions on this movie, which I watched last Saturday night, quietly, but it surprised me and caught my attention quite a bit, so I didn't want to stop recommending it to you, especially to those who like adventures and also human psychology and more...

So how did I find it. Well as I mentioned I was meeting some friends for dinner, pizza specifically as a place called Madonna Electric in Sydney Road, Brunswick. Now Brunswick is the epicentre of hipster culture in Melbourne, and Madoona Electric is the personification of it - Amazingly good Pizza in a place that looked like a reasonable Facsimile of a Nonna's kitchen in 1970's but it's all ironic.

This time, I'm here to show you, share, and comment on my day traveling with my training friends to the city of Maracay and the day of arrival at the hotel where the Street Workout Community athletes who were selected to participate in the 2nd edition of Versus by Category will be staying. This competition will take place tomorrow, Sunday, October 26th, at the Sambil shopping center in the city of Barquisimeto, Lara state, Venezuela.

The character is similar to Legos in its shape, its appearance consists of a red torso with black squares, similar to a chessboard. He also wears a gray tie, while his back is white with a black checkered pattern, similar to the front. His legs are beige and his arms gray. Finally, his head is yellow with his peculiar face. I show you the elaboration process.

One of my favorite Halloween movies is definitely “Corpse Bride.” It's a love story told within a horror story. Victor, the main character, was supposed to marry a girl he didn't know, and, feeling nervous, he arrives at the forest and begins to practice his vows, placing the ring on a branch, which turns out to be the hand of Emily, a beautiful girl who is dead, with a painful love story. Suddenly, in the midst of this confusion, she “accepts” Victor's marriage proposal, thinking it is for her, and demanding her rights as his fiancée.

I saw this film several years ago, and I had fond memories of it. A few months ago, I was able to read the novel on which the film is based, and it made me want to see it again, so I did. I honestly didn't expect to like it more now than before. I'm impressed by how a film that was released thirty years ago can be so well made and tell a story that's more memorable and relevant than many of the films being made today. But hey, that's the thing about classics: they never die.
