Hola amigos, hoy con muchísimo gusto les traigo un cover de un super éxito de los años ochenta “Home Sweet Home”, sencillo lanzado en el año 1985 como parte del album "Theatre of Pain", perteneciente a una de las bandas de rock más influyentes y mediaticas en los EEUU, formada en 1980 en la ciudad de Los Angeles, se trata de la archiconocida Mötley Crüe.
La primera gran power ballad del grupo; con un inicio, y cierre, de teclado a cargo de Tommy Lee que se volvió icónico. Y tras la primera endulzada estrofa, a cargo de Vince Neil, las revoluciones aumentan con el pasar de los minutos; decantando en un solo de guitarra en llamas de Mick Mars. Es una canción de ellos, dirigida exclusivamente para ellos. Nikki Sixx ahonda más al respecto: “Le enseñó a los fans cómo eran nuestras vidas. De qué se trataba armar todo el escenario; la camaradería de unos tipos juntos viajando de ciudad en ciudad”. Cosa que deja bastante en claro el video, al que no se le dio descanso en MTV, con tomas de conciertos en Houston y Dallas (y que para la introducción contó con el actor de culto Michael Berryman, quien ya había aparecido antes en el clip de Smokin’ in the Boys Room).
Mötley Crüe tenía como carta de presentación un rock pesado, que se vio en sus dos primeras placas, con el que dieron el salto a la fama. Pero para su siguiente trabajo se dejaron llevar por la creciente ola glam, que se tomó la ciudad de Los Ángeles: trajes de colores chillones, maquillaje y un sonido más melódico. Bajo ese contexto lanzaron Theatre of Pain(1985), y cuyo segundo single promocional fue “Home Sweet Home”.
