Introduction
welcome to Oatmeal of the Week! Here, you’ll find a digest of all the major, wacky, or interesting events that have unfolded in the Oatmeal World Discord. Since this is our debut edition, we’re covering a bit more than just the past week. Buckle up and enjoy the ride!
The God Purge
In Oatmeal World, the "gods" are the overseers, entrusted with keeping the server in check. It all started when "Waffle" took Joey (the server owner)'s advice a bit too literally, promoting around 60 people to god status. Things spiraled until Joey and a few other gods decided to rein it in, purging the number of gods down to 18. Naturally, chaos ensued, with many members feeling their godly status was unfairly stripped. Even longtime gods weren’t spared. This marks the largest mass demotion in recent memory.
The Poop Girl Incident
A new member joined the server and quickly overshared—a lot. She revealed she had engaged in some questionable activities, involving feces, over the internet for over $3000, plus a PC setup. While the story alone was wild, things escalated when it was revealed that the girl was a minor. Understandably, the server went into a frenzy, but after some level-headed conversations, the situation was resolved, and she seems to be doing better now. Definitely one for the history books.
Berry and Waffle Drama
One of the server’s higher-ranking gods, Berry (19), found himself in hot water after rumors spread about his flirtatious friendship with a 17-year-old member. Things got messy when the girl shared out-of-context screenshots that made Berry look like a predator. She later clarified the situation, confirming it was a misunderstanding, but "Waffle" wasn’t ready to let it go, attacking Berry on multiple alt accounts until he was muted.
However, the tables turned when Waffle himself was accused of flirting with a 15-year-old girl. The girl claimed Waffle made inappropriate jokes and requests, which made her uncomfortable. With no explicit photos shared between Berry and the girl, many argue Waffle’s behavior was far worse.
Most Hated Server Member
5xurcist (AKA uvetta) has earned the title of "Most Hated" member in the server. Many describe her as rude, toxic, and even racist. However, some—including Joey—think she simply has a different sense of humor. Regardless, her reputation has sparked heated debates, with many advocating for her removal.
Seb the Schizo
Seb is known for his paranoid tendencies, convinced that every god is either spying on him or plotting against him. His constant suspicions have earned him the nickname “schizo,” as, in reality, he’s just a regular member, and most people don’t care that much about his activities.

I made several different communities. I could make more. You can make your own communities too and post them there. You can also use a few hashtags too like you did already on top of posting these blog posts to communities.
