Or is it day 12? These days sitting at home are turning into a blurry fog. I mean, I love my morning coffee peacefully reading the online news with a nice cheese omelette with basil on the side, but most of my customers are sitting at home too, so work is confined to online chats and a few phonecalls now and then.
No problem, we'll head out to the empty streets of our neighbourhood with @raili. People are allowed outside in groups of maximum of 2 people, or families moving together, so streets are quiet with the odd Saturday jogger passing by or the old lady next door walking her cat. People walk cats, with a leash, yeah they do.
Some moments we could walk in the middle of the road and close our eyes, nothing would happen unless the sky would come crashing down. A group of cars rushes by in order to make way for the silence and solitude again.
It's a beautiful and warm weather, so it's the perfect day to do yardwork. Snip-snip-snip, go the hedge scissors in gardens, with no-one to be seen, grills are smoking in the back yards, smell of burning leaves and barbeque are filling our lungs as we pass by the lots.
Even the playground, that was booming just a week ago, is now sealed off with a ribbon which proclaims "No entry!" Apparently playgrounds are the top spreading ground for virii, germs and the whatnots. After grocery stores, they tell us.
Found this cool log in the neighbouring forest. If it weren't so bloody tall and heavy, I'd lug it back home. This baby's somehting like 10 meters tall. Oh, and we'd have to be much closer to home. I remember lugging a 25 kilo log once for a nice 15 minutes before realizing it wouldn't actually fit in my car even, so I hid it in the bushes and of course I forgot the location of the stash, when we came to pick it up months later with a buddy. Why lug these logs? I love to make cool stuff from dried out logs, benches, lamps, shelves etc. Maybe I will come back here....
