Oh yes, we are progressing into a new era. It is definitely a different world from the one we grew up in. :-)
I guess such is life. Onwards and forwards we go. No looking back.
My grandfather traveled as a young man with his family in a horse drawn covered wagon to homestead land in South Dakota. I remember sitting with him and watching TV the day that man landed on the moon and listening to his amazement at how the world had changed in his lifetime. I'm beginning to understand how he felt.
I guess that's how it is, the way it is. You will have to start telling your grandchildren this. They will not understand this now, but someday, they will say, "Now I understand how grandma felt." :-)
