OCD DAILY - Issue #846

Welcome to the 846th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #846 highlights content from 10 Hive Content Creators! The OCD team continues its search throughout OCD community to find you the undervalued gems, as provided by relatively new users.

Our curators found 10 new pieces of original content on OCD community! We strive to find works that are created by newer Hive users, that may not have the audience and the information about available communities that fits better for their content.

@OCD strives to help Hive users who put in the extra effort to create creative, original content to find audience and the communities where their content would fit better.

The @OCD nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users) in the @ocd community within 24 hours. The curator will leave a comment to the user encouraging them to post in communities where their content would be a better fit.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and show these great Hivers your support and encouragement. And we'd like to remind you once more, don't forget, try and submit your content to the more appropriate communities before OCD unless you feel it doesn't belong in any and is original content that works with our rules.

If you enjoyed their work, give them a follow or maybe even say Hello!

Unwinding Saturday

The last week at school was very draining. Most of us haven't fully adjusted yet to the new setup at work. But still, we survived and we were able to take good care of the pupils while we are still in our adjustment phase.

ADULTHOOD IS A SCAM - That's a lie

To cut the long story short, here is the summary of my own perspective about the topic.

Space In My Heart

From my sleep I was disturbed by thirst, so I looked around my room for water, but there wasn't any. I made the decision to go downstairs to the kitchen to grab some water. I could hear footsteps coming from behind me as I moved across the aisle.

Is our sacrifice to improve the lives of others worthwhile?

Striving to improve your society and nation may be challenging at times. But, considering the selfishness of our leaders and many of today's youth, I'm left wondering whether our sacrifice was worthwhile. This and many other challenges are what I will discuss with my readers today, as well as how we may best use the opportunity provided by the hive ecosystem to help alter and improve the lives of others.

LIVE WITH LOVE & HARMONY WITH PEOPLE AROUND YOU

There is an important lesson that we must all learn in life and this is simply that we should always be at peace with everyone especially people that are close to us (neighbors, friends, family, co-workers, etc). No man can survive on his or her own, we need people to survive. The Yoruba people have an adage that goes thus "ti owo ba tan, eniyan lo ma ku" (if money runs out, people are left). There is no amount of money that you may possess that you can live in this world without needing the help of people around you.

My visit to the village

The following morning, as early as 6:00am, grandpa came to wake me up to go to the farm. The distance from our compound to the farm is about 10km. Grandpa took his hoes and cutlasses behind his bike and rode to the farm. While Myself and three other children in the compound went to the farm on foot, with each of us carrying a basket.

You Can Do Anything And Everything

This post is mostly inspired by the challenges I have faced the past months relating to my journey to becoming a fashion designer.

Cryptosocial by Allen Taylor: You Must Read this Book!

I dont often do book reviews. And by often I actually mean "ever". But I have to say something about this book. I am going to say that I think everybody should read this one. Especially if you are interested in decentralized social media. I learned of this book in wee early morning hours today. I was drinking my coffee almost 12 hrs ago at the time of this writing. When the author commented on my post from yesterday. He was stating that he would like to be a guest on the new podcast and was all "by the way here's a book I wrote", lol. My first thought was cool. Now I for sure have a couple of people that want to come on the show.

Stuck At Level 88

So when I grew up, got my phone, and learned about mobile games that have to do with spelling and making words out of scattered and shuffled letters, I became addicted and obsessed. I downloaded about five different types of those games ranging from word search, word cross, wordscapes and lots more.
