Hello and good morning all!
Today I'd like to share my most recent project.
Two Mohawk Indian sculptures carved for a good client.

Started off with this log. One of the only ones the wasn't frozen to the ground.

It was cold outside so I quickly removed some bulk to lighten it enough to haul inside.

First one was carved, next up was the 2nd.

I was in a rush, so I didn't get any progress pictures of the 2nd except for detailing.

Here they are just after detailing was complete...

Then some burning with the torch..

Sanded the char off and started to airbrush.

Went with light brown and yellow ocre as a base...

Then some black for shadowing..

Next up was varnish..

Customer wanted war paint on one of them..

After all the painting was done, another coat of varnish was applied to finish off.

My client picked them up yesterday, was very pleased with the result.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I saw, if so feel free to upvote and reblog. I love what I do and I'm happy to share on this platform known as Peakd.
Thank you all for looking and have a wonderful day.
Jon
