We had 604 entries this week of which 358 are valid entries! Awesome guys!
Not all of the entries are in these posts though.
Due to the sheer numbers of entries this week we have only picked 252 of the best ones to put in these posts. If I included all posts it would require too many posts. Everyone who had a valid entry was supported even if you don't find your post in these pages and I hope you enjoy the diversity of music from around the world this week.
There have been a flush of new accounts downloading people's valid Open Mic entries, uploading them to a new YouTube account, and posting it as their own performance on their multiple Steemit accounts. Those will not be included and I have muted those accounts.
To the scammers doing this, muting your account means I will no longer see your posts so you are wasting yours and every one elses time continuing down that path.
We put a new rule in place that is designed to stop scammers, not singers as some people seemed to have interpreted this post.

I don't think so because it was not supportet too. I read "Everyone who had a valid entry was supported" no matter if on list or not. So that means taht my entry was either not valid or it was missed.

Hey @luzcypher, i took it the wrong way when you turned down both of my last entry's and i apologize for the comments i made. It really seemed to me like you just wanted me out but didn't want to tell me, so you used excuses, either way i took it to far calling you spineless. But even after that you never replied, so you must be busy or could care less. All i wanted was a reply saying it was a mistake and not something else, i didn't get one at all, so lashed out at you, which was childish. If you're that busy you should really get a co-host. Anyway in the future i won't enter, One love!
Hey man... I hate that happened. Feeling excluded is about one of THE worst feelings, and of course, as men, our first reaction is, we tend to get "pissed off" lol . (or I do.)
I saw your rap on your page, too man--I liked it. Some creative lyrics, and you have actual rhythm, which is crucial lol.
The only other thing I can think it might be (aside from what @luzcypher said about only one entry per person--which I can understand because, if you read what the mods said about how many entries they received; that's a lot to deal with) is that there is the "rule" that, with few exceptions, participants are required to either play, or have at least some other kind of accompanying instrument in addition to their voice--especially if person is not using their voice melodically; i.e., singing--instead, they are more "speaking;" i.e., "rapping." At that point, the line between "music," "rap," and "spoken word" starts to become blurry.
So either way, it sucks; BUT, personally, I couldn't be too upset if it is just a case of "misappropriation;" I just "put the mail in the wrong box," so to speak.
Oh, and also, I'd totally be down to collaborate on something (I play guitar / sing); I could back you up, play some sweet licks while you rap--could be awesome!! Lemme know!
