Well this was just amazing guys, I just couldn't get enough of it - I listened to it on repeat many many times and I still look forward to the next listen.
Just a brilliant composition and performance, I love the combinations you have chosen - this song works beautifully as is, there is absolutely no need for further accompaniment.
A stand alone entry that was such an absolute joy to hear, the playing was perfection - they way you held back at times and then really let it go when needed, it really made an amazing sound.
Now as a singer I always tend to focus on the vocals, if a song doesn't have amazing vocals I just can't commit - this song delivered in every sense.
The vocal range, arrangement and general use of texture was sublime - I truly enjoyed this divine performance and hope to see many more soon! - @krystle

- Gosh!!! almost as soon as the vocals started I was trying to control the hairs behind my neck as they attempted a futile escape. I'm still attempting to understand how is it that I've never heard of these gems in my life. Aside from the vocals being superb in all technical aspects, the delivery was done with such emotions that it could melt the coldest of hearts.*

Another phenomenal performance from you and one of your extremely talented friends. Ella Nor was spot on with her conviction, great vocal control, instilled emotion and passionate display of musical skill how she effortlessly delivered those sweet and lamenting melodies of a broken heart. The lyrics were well written and the storyline is all too familiar for the shattered attempts of true love for individuals all around the world. I absolutely love all these originals you all are putting out and you have yet to be oversaturated or tiresome. Please keep up the same energy and continue to raise the high quality standard of the open mic contest. Wow man, Pedro just gifted us with a most outstanding vocal artist, Ella Nor. Ella reached down deep here, and held nothing back, while Pedro provided the perfectly passionate and dynamic guitar accompaniment, which really brought out the very best of Ella’s amazing heartfelt vocals. The message is strong and clear. Life is worth living. Listening to you perform this song made me so emotional I had to step away from the computer for a while and regroup. Sadly, we've all lost someone to suicide. This song brings attention to a subject that's hard to talk about for many people but you did it in a beautiful way. Thanks for bringing light to the subject and making us feel hope for tomorrow. - @luzcypher
Okay people, this incredible performance really tugged quite hard at everyone’s heartstrings this week. It certainly got to me; there is no doubt about that. Our esteemed resident storyteller, Sir Nathan Kaye, ever-so passionately shared with us the frailty of our human existence and offered up some sage wisdom in the process. Beyond his most impactful message, one must also appreciate the sheer musical skill he displays here. Not only were his vocals incredibly gripping, but his guitar playing along with working his two percussive foot pedals in perfectly timed fashion gave this powerful performance everything it needed to be just that. There are songs that make you feel and there are songs that stop you on your tracks. This is one of those songs that had me crying like a small child for longer than I would like to admit. I lost a friend to suicide once, I remember how confusing everything was to me back then and how I wish there was something I could have done. Every single word on this song speaks to my heart in ways that my writing skills cannot describe.
I feel grateful to know Nathan and even more grateful to be witness to his message of love and compassion. To Nathan, I'll just say.... Thank you for raising your voice and speaking out Brother... - @meno
Easily one of your most heartfelt and deeply touching performances. Music like this transcends the entertainment factor because it has meaninful intentions and an undeniable purpose. Aside from how hard she must have worked behind the scenes in producing this gem, Lucy’s 8-part acapella accompanied only by a click track, just knocked me out! I do love Lucy! Her vocal dynamics along with the passion and harmonies that she brings to the table here left me no choice but to place her at the top of my list. You have a great voice and play the guitar well. What struck me about this entry was your storytelling abilities and how you crafted such an approach to a wonderfully inspiring woman named Bonnie Doone. I do not know who she is but if I were to guess, I would think her to be a close loved one of yours, possibly a your mother, or a mother figure. You detail her harsh upbringing in the most subtle but effective ways and also describe your longing for salvation from the devouring flames that jeopardize your very soulful existence. It is quite the gripping story and poetically woven with suspense and hopefulness. Thank you for sharing this great original song and I look forward to your next artistic creation. - @verbal-d
Oddly, the first thing that caught my attention was @eyewritedaily’s friendly gaze into the camera stating, “What’s up everybody!" Shortly after his brief and pleasant introduction, his melodic guitar playing immediately caught my attention, and I was then quite eager to hear his original composition and vocal performance. His vocals are great, and the melodies of this piece are quite pleasing to the ear. I believe his lyrics have the ability to mold themselves into storylines that many can easily identify with. I don’t know who “Bonnie Doone” is, but I’m sure glad she inspired @eyewritedaily to compose this song. - @passion-ground

Alright, so on the lighter and brighter side of week 77, we have one of my favorite vocal artists, Alejandra! Here again, it is obvious that tons of work went into this super-fun production! Alejandra went out of her way to provide us with 8-screens of accompaniment to showcase her engaging center-stage live performance. Oh, and her harmonies - they were so exquisite. Engaging, passionate, and fun! All that in combination with this being a favorite song of my childhood left me no choice but to make certain both the song and Alejandra were represented properly here in week 77. - @passion-ground

Hey guys, such an honour to be on this list again! As @verbal-d said, I'm really lucky to have these extremely talented friends! Ella Nor's amazing, just as @alfredocosta and @paulobassman, who are already a part of the Steemit Community, and Bertílio, who will join us soon aswell. Without them you wouldn't see me around here for sure! Ella Nor didn't knew about Steemit until I told her about it, and when I showed her the reviews of the juris her jaw just dropped! She really felt all that love and I'm sure it will be a great motivation for her to see how her music can reach so many different people from so many different places around the globe.
